There is a blacksmith forum, It's "Anvilfire.com". They have good info.
Thanks, I've looked at that website but unless you have the book (Anvils in America) there really isn't much help.

In my experience, many books can be found at local libraries. They can even borrow books from other towns if they are not in their own collections. And it is free. Ask your local librarian.
