Interesting, and nice, but why are radius tools so damn expensive?

That IS a neat looking device. Different than most radius cutters. And the seller is about 10 minutes from me. Too bad the cost and shipping aren't reversed!

Why are they expensive? A whole lot of time & work went into that tool so I'd assume it's new price would have been up there and at least comparable to something like a Holdridge. Just for future reference for others when the Ebay ad disappears, it has a $1275 BIN price on it. An unusual tool and a design I'd not seen previously so it's rarity likely drives the price even higher.
