Please send your contact info. The driver bolts onto a standard cat 50 spindle with 4 socket head bolts and also uses the dogs.

I think the stroke is about 4” perhaps a bit less

How long is the max stroke on those?

Woops, you are right. The whole casting is 24” wide and 28 long. My error.

I checked the serial number and it says it is a 20... Seems the rotabs don't have weights like the other attachments.. Maybe it is because they would have two weights, one for power driven and one for manual only...Ramsay 1

Thanks John.. I don't have or can't find one bit of info on the weight of the rotabs.. I have weights on most other attachments but for some reason my info does not show the weights.. Ramsay 1

2KM has 4.25" overarms. K&T Items listed are for 5" overarms

You would need the proper giant casting that the double swivel UNIVERSAL head is mounted on

If it would help anyone in the SoCal or AZ area I could probably deliver any or all of these items as long as the schedule is flexible. I go back and forth with some regularity and I am delivering the Hendey planer to Hendeyman in SE AZ.

Well.. I actually have a 12" Sheldon shaper as well as the 7" or 7 1/2" stroke K&T slotter head adapted to the Quartet mill.

But I'd lke to see someone save the one you have, so...

Having the slotter head means I can shed the shaper altogether, reclaim a nice chunk of floorspace.

Most tasking it can do, I can do on the mill, and faster.

What a mill does NOT do well is an internal keyway, internal spline, internal gear, or similar "feature".

Those are broach, planer, shaper, or slotter work, slotter being the closest match, and generally cheapest to tool for it.

A slotting HEAD can be stashed in small space for those infrequent odd-jobs.

A shaper, planer, broaching machine, or slotting MACHINE-not-just-head takes more space.

Did I forget to mention that somebody should grab this? If nothing else, as "future trading material' - a far worthier fate than being smelted for concertina wire and sent-off to East bum-F**k sand-base Alpha....
