Hello, my local welder offered this Hendey lathe to me and I would like to upgrade to a much more capable lathe than my bench top Pratt & Whittney from 1932.
I am trying to post photos and I will hopefully go back to get more and a serial number off the unit.
I my main concern is that I would not be able to use modern tooling or get the correct tooling for it. Does it use a common size?
My smaller lathe seems to use an odd ball taper and I don’t have the rare threading attachment.
I don’t want to invest into tooling for it if it is not feasible.
