I have a Fray all-angle with Type C head on some bastardization of a different bed, so EVERYTHING is manual, and its really just beed a very versatile drill press for me.
I'd like to actually use it as a mill, but theres probable .020 runout in the quill. I'm thinking I'll mount shaft on my old Southbend lathe, rigid at bearings, and run a #7 taper ream into the collet socket to try to true it up?
Any better ideas?
Also, and source for PN's no the bearing where shaft rides in quill? (am I using terms correctly?) at least one needs replacing for certain, and I can't read it's PN.
Thanks!
