Machining out a graduated dividing plate for my rose engine. 360 lines in 3 different lengths. Takes concentration and notes not to mess up. Also doesn't hurt to tape over things you shouldn't touch.

YIKES  and well done rivett ....having marked several plates and tables in 360 deg (1,s 5's & 10's) ..........and drilled my own plates for dividing heads I've a fair idea of what that's like.

'Proper job' as we say here in the West Country.
Like Limy Sami, I drilled all the plates (GHT dividing device) locked myself in the workshop so there were no interruptions).
Didn't do that on the 360 ring for an Ellipsograph and ended up with 6-4 instead of 5-5 on the last 10 degrees:nono:
Bill - well impressed with the low amplitude rosettes.

Yes concentration is a must. Here is the funny part, I got 180 degrees done and then it was 5:30 when we had a friend over for happy hour. I had about 4 large Canadian Whiskeys (Crown Royal) On the rocks. Btw, I pour large, strong drinks around here. After some very nice cheese, smoked salmon, olives, etc. I headed back to the shop with another drink and a dish of chocolates about 10:30. Was finished before midnight. That is often how I do my best work.

Now setting up to drill A couple rows of holes in the edge.

Stamped the numbers, drilled 48 and 60 holes around the edge and signed in a unique way of the times.

Made a pointer that attached to the mounting hole for the worm adjuster. Also had to make copies of the 5mm x 0.8 screws. Having fun. Next I'll make a index pin to fit into the holes.

BTW, The photos are bigger on my instagram, wmrrobertsonminiatures
