Manufacturer information needed for antique cutter grinder.

Hello Folks !
I need to find out the name of the manufacturer of an antique tool and cutter grinder I am refurbishing.
I can find no information about it here in the UK despite my best efforts !
I've not come across it in all my 40 years of professional engineering so I hope someone out there can help.
The only reference I have to the manufacturer is a logo as in the picture below which is cast into the machine in 2 places.
There are no labels, serial numbers, or anything else as a reference.
I guess the machine is quite old as I bought it second hand some 25 years ago and have only just got around to refurbishing it.
It's a nice machine but many parts of it are cast in aluminium if that helps ?

Looks European styling, possibly a Z ? Zimmerman comes to mind, they do make grinding machines.

I pursued this idea and came up with nothing yet sadly but a great idea it does look like a Z.
I thought maybe it was a Greek letter delta perhaps ?
Looked at delta machine tools but their logo is quite different to this though.
Any more ideas gratefully received !
