there are reasons companies even in the USA setup completely new factories in states far from companies home state. i personally lost my old job at a multinational company that closed a building in new york state and kept the one in Colorado running instead. state taxes were just one of many reasons . and they told us the factory in new york was running more efficiently but it was not enough to keep jobs there
