I just picked up an old Pratt and Whitney lathe today and was wondering if anybody has more info on this one. It has no lead screw, just a shaft to power feed the apron. The motor setup is some sort of cobbled together series of pulleys and shafts that are certainly not original.

I have an 1893 pub that I had looked at before and thought my lathe was not in it..... Looked at it again last night and found it. You could buy those with a lead screw or without. Mine has power feed but no lead screw. It appears to be common for them to not have a compound either.
