I posted an ad looking for an early Milling machine and had gotten several responses (thank you!) It got me thinking of all the other machines I am searching for to add to my collection and fill the void in my heart. I wanted to start this thread... Not only for me but so that anyone can chime in to seek out that special machine they just can’t live without..
As mentioned earlier I am in search of an early mill.. 1800’s timeframe, the earlier the better... An early Brainard would be wonderful! Or Lincoln style mill. I am also searching for an early chain lathe, on the smaller side (around 6 foot in length or smaller) . I am also searching for an early drill press .. 1860s -1870s time frame. The earlier the machine the better... the more ornate, complete and unmolested the better! And as always Cash Paid trades etc. Thanks George
It’s time to stop letting these machines collect dust in your shop or garage and let them collect dust in mine!
