Hi, I have an old MYFORD lathe and wonder if anyone has any info on it.
year of manufacture 1946 machine no. J3130
Was told it was first myford fitted with a clutch?
Any info on this machine would help me. It is running ine, hardly any ware, and not been used a lot in my opinion.
Not original motor, small quarter HP on now, but may add larger one soon.
One or two bits missing I think, but have all gears for machine, but a bit hard to set up drive train for carriage? have it running, but not with cutout. In perminant drive.
Have all clutch parts, with little ware on clutch, but by passed it to direct drive at the moment.
interesting to see if any info around on this machine, thanks all
TOM.
