Help heckert fw315

Hi
Please, can you help with a heckert fw 315 mill or similar, I'm trying to change the old control to a plc but don't have a wiring diagram or at least an a idea of what the controls do to make the machine works. Please need manuals or wiring diagram it would be very helpful

You've got a choice - store.lathes.co.uk in the UK say they have copies of manuals for that particular machine as do a company called - industrial manuals in the USA.
Neither are cheap but for me that sort of information is priceless.

Heckert are still in business as part of the Starrag group in Germany. Maybe that is a good place to start ?

Previously they were based in East Germany and I think they were part of the " WMW " group. Decent well made machines, quite heavily built if my memory serves me well.

Might be better off, doing a CNC conversion.

Heckert machines are good when they run, but a pain in the ass when they quit...
