Hey guys, Ted needs your help. I’m trying to determine the dates when Peerless started and stopped being in business (especially when they were offering machinist tool chests). I’m considering adding them into 'The' Guide for Wooden Machinist Tool Chests, pre-1960
I don’t know whom may have actually manufactured them, but Peerless still could qualify as a manufacturer. Their machinist tool chests are unique in that the removable front panel has a recessed top edge and is held in place against a strip of wood going across the top front of the till’s face board when locked.
If you have any of the old Peerless Level & Tool Co. catalogs I’d sure appreciate your reviewing them to see if you can add any pertinent information. Thanks much……toolboxted
