Please help identify this steady rest

I have been selling off a lot of old equipment in the last couple of months. I came across this steady rest but I was unable to tell what machine it came from. Any ideas?

It is for an 11" lathe. It is 5 1/4" between the tips of the v's.

It is for sale.

The printing says 1U80 92 I think

Tells me old, VERY OLD.

And that 92 I bet is 1892

I doubt it. Nobody has bothered to contact me. But I will give it a go.

I have found that steady rests usually go for around $150. Since no one knows which lathe this one goes to, how about $100.
