I need to get rid of a bunch of parts and machines I've accumulated over the last 20 years and I don't want to deal with ebay.
I have a Pratt & Whitney quill rest for sale. This is for high precision operations, it gets rid of any slop induced by the drive belt on the spindle (or that's my understanding anyways). I don't have the driving dog, but it does have the drawbar. It has the usual P&W lathe taper and the usual 3PN collet taper.
The bearings are adjustable and appear to be tight, but I haven't run it since I don't have a P&W lathe. The flash in the pictures makes the staining look like deep pitting, it's not actually that bad. I haven't attempted any cleaning.
I'll include a partial P&W headstock that I have if you want it. Just the main casting, spindle, and bearings, no drive pulley.
