Default Restoration of Hendey-Norton Universal No. 2 - Phase Two - feed problem

    Good News
Seized spindle and table feed are generally fixed.

    Bad News
Only 16 of the 18 feeds are happy (feed matrix of 3 in back X 6 in front). When feed 5 or 6 are used in combination with speed 3 (in back) they work for a few seconds and then the front selector lever kicks out and in to neutral very violently. With a borescope the gears look good, no missing teeth, and surprisingly little wear.

    Any ideas?

PS used my new wireless borescope.

Bottom of spindle and cavity via observation port (no gunk after 100 years!)
