Thread: Rivett chuck spanner wrench

What size is needed to install the chucks on these?
Or is it a special size?
Anybody got a pic on one?

Here is the tabulated drawing on the draw back nuts. See what your diameter is and check what size you need

Example - 7 1/2" OD = L1

The 1020 and 1030 have standard L0 spindles with rectangular slots in the nut for the hook spanner.

But the 918 has a special small L000 spindle, not listed in the long nose specs. So you would have to measure the ring diameter. And Tony's pictures seem to indicate you need a pin-type hook spanner because the ring has drilled holes.

Thanks for the info. Looks like mine is about 5 3/8 at the front side but I don`t have holes just slots for the spanner.
