I am resurrecting a Boyar Schultz Profile Grinder Model No 1. I cannot find any info on line. I want to replace the flat spindle belt but have no part number and can't find a good source of the thin flat woven belts like those used on tool post grinders. Any help would be appreciated.

Here is a picture of the little guy. It is a well made tool and is now in great condition except for the belt.

I had one of those around 1980. It ran OK, but I don't remember anything about the belt.

Sopko has Dumore belts, which come in several sizes. I had a local power transmission company cut to width and glue an endless flat belt (Habasit brand) for one of my Hardinge lathes. Leder is another brand for the same sort of thin flat belting. My Hardinge belt has been working for over thirty years, so whatever I paid was a very cheap price.
