In the second video, if you turn on the subtitles, then click on the gear shaped symbol beside that and select "Auto Translate" and "English" you can get some gist of the conversation. He's stuck those cylinders together with layer upon layer of stick welds by the look of them. The local supporters are scavenging scrap that might be useful for him.

Im far more impressed by the track......lots of proper rail by appearances....massive amount of work in that layout.......A simple way of making fabricated cylinders is to use welded steel endplate and frame,with wet cylinder liners for the actual cylinders .My most recent used John Deere 239 liners from an engine I rebuilt for a customer.Some wet liners are very thick ,and most suitable,with the plus that you also get rings as well..all free.
