Slocomb Snap Gauge Micrometer with Stand. J. T. Slocomb of Providence, RI. started in 1891 making micrometers. This rare 1" double spindle version could be used as a snap or Go-NoGo gauge.
I have had the mic in my collection for years but earlier this week found the stand on ebay. In over 40 years of collecting I had never seen one before so imagine my excitement when it showed up today.
