Anyone recognize this old head stock, or what it may have come off of? Looks like it's from a small jeweler's/cataract style lathe. I have no other parts of this particular lathe.
It looks pretty old, but no maker's mark, just what looks like a serial #(2746) and a small "6" stamped on the end. It measures about 10" long, (which includes the collet), stands about 5" tall to the top of the wood hand wheel and looks like it would fit a 2" wide bed.
This came in a box of parts and accessories for a small Wade lathe I bought some years ago. I've been going through this stuff in preparation to get the old Wade back together.
Thanks in advance,
