Default Standard Tool & Manufacturing Co. Glassblowing lathe

Hello, this is my first post...

I bought this lathe 2 years ago in NJ for my glassblowing business. It is relatively old, Im guessing from the 40s The plaque says the company was established in 1910 but I couldn't find very much on the company online.

I love this lathe and use it daily with borosilicate rods and tubes. Still works great. It was fully refurbished by Warner Lathe in Nj, But I never got much of a history on it. I have never seen another one online so I am wondering if there are ANY others like this still in operation. Warner told me this machine was pre Litton HSA (same bore and similar design) -which is a pretty standard glass lathe in the scientific industry. Check out the pics and Let me know if anyone has any more info on this machine, company, or have ever seen another like it. Thank you,

    -m
