(I will be editing this thread with more information; please check back)

I set up a table once a year at the North American Model Engineering Show on April 23-24 (http://www.namesexposition.com/expo.htm). I sell off some of the stuff I have accumulated over the years. I don’t get to bring some of the stuff because it is too big, too heavy, too specialized, or would not appeal to that market.

I am listing some of that stuff here with the hope that some of you will buy it and then travel to show to pick it up. You can get what you want and enjoy the show in the bargain.

The way I see this working is that you can purchase any of the items I list and then I will bring those to the show for you. Anything that does not sell here I may, or may not, bring to the show to sell. If it does not sell at the show then I will consider shipping it to any potential buyer here.

Please IM me here if you are interested in any item.

AMMCO 6” Shaper
This little guy comes with the original vise. Both the ram and the table work. The motor needs to be mounted more securely. There is not enough tension currently; the belt just slips unless I move the motor a bit to increase the tension. Once mounted on a new stand with correct belt tension it should run very nicely. New-looking leather belt. The table height adjusting handle needs a little brazing (nice clean break, I recommend silver brazing). $575 (I will require at least a $100 deposit; you can pay the balance at the show).

I like Derbyshire stuff. How much? Does it have a 60 mm center height and Is the headstock marked Elect near the serial number?

Larry

Yes, it has a 60 mm center height.

It is marked "Elect" in a nice script on the backside of the head stock; serial number (or part number) is on front side.
CORRECTION: It is marked "Elect" right under the head stock spindle collet on the front. It is also marked "Elect" on the left hand end of the bed.

It has an added tag reading "Norwood Division of Bendix Aviation" too.

It also has the name "Bendix Exp Lab" stamped into the top of the tail stock.
