Picked up this Tauco (re-badged delta 220) locally, looking better now, painted it the same blue as my Pools lathe [emoji16]

A very good drill press indeed.
There´s a lot of Tauco machines still around in Uruguay. In my childhood the Tauco brand was advertised in “Mecánica Popular” (Spanish-language version of Popular Mechanics) as Delta tools for the Latin American market; yours is the first Tauco I’ve seen outside L.A. “Tauco” is the name of a chinese sauce, a geographical name in Chile and in Colombia and is also the Spanish word for “to stack”; makes you wonder what Delta had in mind.
 
They must have sold them here in NZ too, this one was listed for sale a while back:
