Torshälla lathes?

Hi,

I'm considering buying a Swedish Torshälla SV-150 lathe (similar to the one pictured here: http://www.abtrax.com/verktygsmaskiner/begagnade/svarvar/121509.shtml). Do any of you have experience with these machines?

Hello fellow Norwegian.
I have run almost the same lathe as in the picture from Torshalla. It is a good machine sturdy and accurate. If its in good condition just buy it.

That looks nice. The only thing is that the top speed is only 1000 rpm, but if it that dont matter to you just buy it. Leknes maskin has often some nice lathes for sale also, you might give them a call.
