Van Norman #2 mill info?

I recently acquired a VN #2 Duplex mill like the one shown in the attached photo. Does anyone have any info on this model? Date of introduction, date when discontinued, catalogs, anything?

According to a 1941 industry-wide price list (part of the early WW II industrial management program), the Duplex mills were already obsolete in 1941, with the 22L being the suggested replacement for the Duplex #2.
