Interesting U Tube period photo essay of the Villiers factory ,Wolverhampton,in the 1940s.....Lots of US made machine tools ....To me its a surprise they had so much stuff....nice and clean ,too.....For those familiar with Villiers products ,it was mainly tinpot little two stroke engines and gearboxes,and small stationary engines .....They also made bicycle hubs in a big way,like 80,000 coaster hubs a week!
 
I had a Villier's engined Cotton trials bike years ago. Cute little thing... would have it back if I could.
