Wade 8A Compound Dimensions?

Happy new year

I was wondering if a Wade 8A owner would mind posting the length and width of your compound casting. Also I would like to know the width of the female dovetail at the widest point.

Any help is much appreciated.

6.50" long x 3.23 wide x 1.13 high. The dovetail is 2.34 wide at its widest point (measured with verniers), which includes room for the gib.

Are you thinking of machining one?

Can't remember if Andy Fitzgibbon has one or not, Worth trying, though.

If not, I'm happy to help with other dimensions. Best is email through the control panel, as I don't consistently receive email notices from the board.
