    A person of my acquaintance has a 10" Sheldon..... The thing must weigh most of a ton, and is a very nice machine..... not a 10EE, but way better than any S-B. it's a beast, but a good beast.

    The carriage may weigh more than a 10" Atlas.......

    old thread, no doubt (only 11 yrs), but saw this Sebastian lathe on CL today (7-29-21)
    Not keen on the old slower rpm lathes; which on this one look to have bushings in the headstock.
    But, what's tempting is that the price includes the trailer.

    Per John Oder that may be a gold seal lathe with the levers hanging down. It includes the trailer he needs. I bet the wheel bearing will fail on the trip home. By now the Op may have heavier lifting equipment.
