Who makes this surface grinder?

Looking for some info on this machine.

Buyer can’t figure out who the manufacturer is.

The front cover says O.S. Walker but I can’t find where they have made any surface grinders.

I’m estimating mid-1940’s but I’m no expert.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for sharing. I looked through those documents and didn't see a good match.

Perhaps it's uncommon enough to stay away from.

could be a fine grinder..but I don't see the long travel lever...and looks like the wheel goes the other way...and an 8" wheel so the wheel mount might be bigger than 1 1/4.
What is on the chuck ..and what are the two similar things on the flor?

Looks pretty close to the model 1-1/2 on page 2 to me. http://vintagemachinery.org/pubs/2512/17974.pdf Of course, the catalog illustration is of a lineshaft drive machine and the OP photo looks like a later electric motor driven machine.

The thing on the chuck is a 360 degree 5C collet spin indexer that might be new Chinese or might be older.
