So, I did a thing. I bought stuff. Some good, some bad, some useless. But it's my stuff. All mine. So stay the fuck away.

    Now, pass that shit, bruh....

And here I thought by the massive number of new posts someone knew what this thing was.... I see I was mislead by my thinking.

Look at it as a civil disobedience protest against the poor thread title.

To Milland. I thought by posting a topic for help I will have a deal with professional people who are passionate about machinery, tools, technology. You've just proved that some people just know to waste their and others' time. I am so glad that this forum does not have a lot of people with similar attitudes you have. Cheers. Life is not only about worrying about the titles for the machinery forum

Thanks for your consideration and assessment, however the item is neither tool or machine or technology. It is from a musical instrument, such as pipe organ or other wind instrument.
    So, "OT," is required.

You got me. That's the entire reason I signed up in '06, so I could spend my time wasting others. Well spotted, Sir! Now that my secret is out, I shall skulk off and ponder my next malevolent act against humanity.

Or Sean Hannity - he's got it coming, the bastard!

Or maybe not. Look, it was/is an interesting device, and I'd like to know what it was used for too. But you say "deal with professional people" above. When you deal with professional people do you spew undescriptive and non-contextualized words at them? Or do you try to be concise and accurate, so as to convey your question well and to minimize wasted time?

Peace out, guy. I have nefarious deeds to do...

    My guesses:

    A Medieval torture device?
A poor attempt to hand route a design in a board? it is after all adjustable...
A bad class project - proof that the student needs to be in a better school?

A result of lax pot laws in BC
A result of the price reduction of "BC Bud"...

Have played with a few pipe organs, have never seen anything even resembling that inside. And can't imagine what something like that would do in an organ.

I can imagine that it would hurt quite a bit! Perhaps from the Marquis de Sade collection?

Looks like it could be a combination lock.
