Unbelievable working Ferrari model - video

Simply stunning. My first thought is "why not build a full size one?" but art rarely has logic attached to it. Great sound.

The robot sculpture kciocia linked to is also gorgeous.

This fellow has made a 1/5 scale Rolls Royce Eagle 22. 24 cylinders, H-configuration. Unreal. No castings, everything carved out of bar stock.

He also has a working 1/5 scale Merlin:

I wish I didn't have to work for a living and could spend my time making cool stuff. I'll never forgive my parents for not being born rich...

Am I the only one that peeked @ the other videos on the ferrari link?

Kudos to me hahaha
(by the way, I got caught by the wife looking @ the "top 5 on the side) the girl in the green sweater was playing @ the time (told her I was going to buy her a green sweater, got slapped, NOT)

thanks a lot "D"

>>>the ferrari is amazing too<<<

 SteelCutter

The latest 'Model Engineer' has an article about M. Scerri. It says that he and his Ferrari are attending the N.A.M.E.S. exposition in Toledo, Ohio for an award on 21 and 22 April.

The article also says that the engine has run for more than 50 hours without any failures. Just like the real thing???
