System 3R OrbiCut mini servo...what do these cost new ? Can you do threading with them ? Any use on a CNC sinker or just for manual machines mainly ?

That unit is desinged to allow manual machines to orbit the electrode. I have seen them used to also provide limited motion in one direction as well. The biggest hurdle is that they only work with electrodes mounted on 3R shanks.
A CNC unit would have no use for this as it sould have full motion in 3 axes.

Not all CNC sinkers have a C axis (rotation). My C axis is a 3R add-on.

I thought it was an orbiting head not an indexing or rotating head. If it does indeed rotate, there may be a market for it in the CNC relm, but usually, the operators will want something programmable not manual to use.
