Hi all, im a newby!
I have just purchased what I THINK is a graciano SAG 14 under the Hercules SAG 14 name. Can anyone verify that Hercules sold rebadged Gracianos? The lathe sounds like a project with unkown problems. I dont have it yet. I will need some drive belts I know for sure. Anyone know if they are standard of the shelf items? I am finding it hard to find a chuck for it D1 5" I think? WHat would the right size be? Any one know of a reasonably price adabter at least? Any one suggest how to check it out when I get it? Any one know the dimensions of a SAG14 compared to SAG 12. A SAG twelve is the one I wanted but the condition visually of this one and the price was too good to pass up. If this checks out to be as good as it looks to me now, any one know if it can be swapped for a SAG 12 in good shape? To be practical the trade would have to be driving distance from Seattle WA as I live in Vancouver Canada.
