Base Pay: $15.00 – $19.00 per hour
Full Time - Nights.
Purpose: To have a highly-productive turning cell to meet the requirements of the customer by increasing through put and eliminating sub-contracting.
Job Description:
• Primary responsibility will be the set-up and running a Mazak and Warner & Swasey
• Perform programming and editing as needed
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
• Responsibilities will include cleaning and deburring of work, keeping equipment lubricated, operating a forklift, and keeping area clean and organized at all times
Future Functions:
• Ability to train new candidates
• Operating other machines in the cell
Skills/Experience/Traits of Qualified Candidates:
• Qualified candidate must be an experienced shop worker
• Must have blueprint reading skills
• Able to accurately use precision measuring devices
• Knowledge of cutting tools and their correct feeds and speeds
• Must have a high school diploma or G.E.D.
• Be experienced with reading skills
• Candidates must have the ability to make corrections and solve problems in order to maintain high quality and high production rates that will be required
• Have good to excellent math / trig skills
• Individual needs to be highly motivated and work well with others
• Must be able to stand the entire shift
• Ability to work other shifts and weekend shifts when needed
