It was suggested that I post a link here to an older thread in another subforum. Archie is working on rebuilding an American Pacemaker lathe and his photos show very nicely how he has managed to fixture up the bed to a convenient height for scraping.

If you wish to add to Archies post please do so but being newcomers lets please play nice as it is his thread. If you wish to discuss what he has accomplished it would be fine to start here and we can just reference back to his photos. That way we dont pollute his original thread with too many comments.
