This machine saw some water abuse on a leaky porch before I got her. Internally the gear are bright and shiny. The lead screw is not rusty but the ways have seen better days.I have started my restoration and rebuild the chuck and tailstock. it's now time to remove the carriage and start cleaning it out. Nothing really moves, mostly from grease and grime not rust. I have not started it yet but am preparing to wire it. I need advice on oil changes(in the mulitiple areas), ways reburbishing, machine leveling ( i have a precision P&W level), and any other advice on how to true this machine once it's cleaned up. I have used plenty of lathes but they usually already worked.
