What year did Monarch change the crossfeed from .250" to .200" per turn? When did they change it on the tailstock? When did they switch from plain steel dials to satin chrome? When did they change from the 1.25" Ø tailstock to the 1.75" Ø tailstock? Did they ever supply the tailstock with a MT3?

Plain steel to satin chrome must have ocurred btw. 1944 and 1947. Not sure
when, but I have a 47 catalog that shows
the satin chrome, and I have never seen
a "round dial" machine with satin chrome.
The 47 catalog shows slightly different
satin chrome than my 56; I will try and
post the pictures this weekend.

1.75" tailstock was late-60's. Monarch
never bored these MT3 that I know of, unless
it happened on recent production.

Looking at brochures the crossfeed change was before 78 (some images show .250 on crossfeed others .200 Maybe the metric option was the difference?).

No idea when any feed rate change happened on the tailstock, maybe when the quill size was changes as well, the 1.75" size is in the '78 brochure.
