How hard would it be to remove power to the servos on command? I'm thinking some sort of switch in my head so that one could move the table or quill by hand, basically like a manual machine, and retaining the benefit of the DRO on the display? Specifically, I have a V2XT that's a good little machine, but I've always thought it was a waste that it was not able to be used manually, like a Prototrak or the such. The only way I am aware of to interrupt the servo power is to trip the E-stop, and doing so disables the DRO, as well, so no love that way. Fitting handwheels is trivial, but I'm curious if it's possible to make it work in this fashion.

Anyone ACTUALLY done it with any of the SX/DX type controls?
