    Default Bridgeport 3 phase 1hp 575 volt motor stator number of slots

    Hello all,
    Can any one please tell me number of slots of stator on 1hp 575 volt 3 phase motor I am looking to rewind this motor to 230 volts 3 phase,I need to calculate motor rewind data,right now I don't have motor in my hand please help me.

    Come on.... if you know how to wind you know you need all the data, and the only way is strip the old motor down, you need cord, wire size, and how many in hand, y or delta, slot fill or turns, coils per group... ect....Phil

    Try reconnecting the motor for delta and run it on 240 and see if it produces enough torqe for you.

    575 volt / 1.73=332volt... going to be very weak and he would need to bring out the 3 star point leads...time to wind...Phil

    Hello All,
    Thanks for all the advice please if some one can provide me winding information for the 230-440volt 3 phase Bridgeport milling machine motor 1 hp will be very very helpful I need to buy all the supplies for rewinding will be good if some one can tell me the wire gauge.
