Hi all
I have a Bridgeport516 vertical running heidenhein TNC150 operating system.
I'm aware on how to use tapping cycles on there when using a standard tap in FOR UNF,BSP,BSF,NPT,BSPT, METRIC. But as I get to bigger thread sizes I have to use helical interpolation.
I only know 1 thread size (1"BSP) as it was in an old programme I found and it works perfectly. My problem is I am clueless as to how to calculate helical interpolation threads.
The programme I have is as follows and I would be very interested if someone can help me calculate threads using this method. The thread is internal.
Example:
L X0 Y0
L Z2.00
CC X0Y0
LP PR+4.55 PA0.00 R F120 M13
CP IPA360,000 IZ23,000 DR-
L X0 Y0
