Would anyone happen to know the Bimba or equivalent part number for the air cylinder used for the spindle brake on Bridgeport BOSS mills? I just had a guy climb up and get the part number printed on mine, D-15438-A-1, but according to the Bimba web site that's not a valid part number. It also not the Bridgeport part number shown in the parts manual, not that I expect to order from Hardinge. I know I could pull it off and measure it, but if someone has the part number, I won't have to take it apart until the replacement is in hand.

Thanks,
Dennis

Busy this morning. Let's see if I know how to attach a photo:

Looks like a plain jane Bimba cylinder to me; can't figure out why it has a weird part number on it. With my luck I'll order one by size only to find it has weird threads.

Thanks. It's still working but blowing past the rod seal... which is the normal brake off state.

I'll try giving Bimbo a call next week.
