Tracer knee handle, VFD questions

I've just bought a 1956 1J bridgeport off of a fellow coworker.

It looks to have had a hydraulic tracer setup on the knee, added much later in it's life. Still have the provisions for a knee lift handle, but it's not splined like a normal BP, despite coming with a normal BP handle. Does anyone know off hand which pieces need replacing and where to source them? (I'll post pics tomorrow)

I think I narrowed it down to two different VFC's:

WJ200-007SF 1HP .7kW 230V Single Phase Input VFD - Hitachi

Are these the goto for a 1hp step-pulley? or should I be looking for an AB unit on ebay? I have 50 amps of 220 single phase on a dedicated circuit already wired up.

Most people don't recommend buying used units on Ebay (although some people have had good luck). Even an good quality AB on ebay may be risky.

Several people on the forum power their B-port with Hitachi or Teco. So either one would probably be fine. I considered a Hitachi for my mill, but ended up getting a Yaskawa.
