We have a 20 year old Bridgeport VMV800 with Heidenhain 370 control, yesterday we were unable to do a tool change. One of the breakers inside trips everytime that we turn the machine on and there is a 'low lubricatioon oil pressure warning' on screen.
We have tested the oil lubrication relay and that is okay, anyone have any ideas what it can be and how to test?

Did you end up figuring out what it was? I am having exactly the same problem on my VMC 560/22

Clean the pump. Change the oil in the sump. There is a felt filter and screens that sucks the oil up. Also the lube system has "Lube" meter units that resemple Bijur metering units. That need to be replaced. That machine was made in Taiwan, probably by Quaser machine. You should email them for support now that Bridgeport was sold.
