A coolant soaked B'port manual mill is not a good idea on many levels, I know!
Having said that has anyone made up coolant guards for a standard J head B'port that keeps chips / coolant contained and isn't in the way & more trouble than it's worth 99% of the time? IOW something that is in situ most of the time.
Not so much concerned about the stuff that gets thrown toward the operator, there is a surfeit of OSHA approved add on devices that fit that need quite nicely
My issue is all the stuff that ends up being slung behind and all over the machine.
