Hardinge Clips

these are dial markers for the Hardinge HC

The markers are numbered 1 to 8 and show the cross slide position for each of the eight turret tools. The picture is from a Hardinge HC catalog. I never ran one, but it looks like the linear scale is for coarse positioning and the dial gets you within a thousandth of an inch.

I saw a post recently where someone wanted a set and there was a comment that they are scarce and expensive now.

Neat. Thanks. I'm not sure if I would even need them especially since this HC has a Acu-Rite D200 DRO installed.

OOH! Never knew those things existed, would have been neat back when I ran HCs and Tsugami equivalents. We always used pencil marks on the dial. You learn so many things here on PM, sometimes 40 years too late.

Does your Acu-rite resolve to a tenth? Dialing to a mark maybe faster than watching flashing numbers on a screen.
