Hardinge cross slide and compound parts?

Hi folks, I have the top part of a cross slide with the compound for what I believe is a Hardinge cross slide top with compound.

I wonder if I could get some help identifying it? I’d like to know it isn’t some rare part someone could really use before milling and drilling iron off of it to repurpose it for some other use.

Any help apreciated!

That is an incomplete Hardinge model 1946 slide rest. I have rebuilt that model and can use the parts, if they are good, for some I have not worked on yet. It was made from 1946 to 1960, when they introduced their final version, with the long steel top slide.

I can provide details. There is a problem or two but I think it is good. Let me know what photo or dimensions I can provide. I was thinking of an other use for it but if I can get something for it and it helps a machine stay alive, that would be better.
