Hardinge DV-59 Information

Hello, Relatively new to Practical Machinist.

I'm looking for some information on a Hardinge DV-59 Turret lathe I recently acquired. Little backstory.....The company I work for was downsizing their machine shop and was going to scrap this lathe. I just couldn't let that happen, especially because nothing is wrong with it. I ended up getting the Hardinge, a Do-ALL Bandsaw and 2 Bridgeport mills for next to nothing.

The lathe came with a ton of tool holders.....there in lies my real question. Does anyone know of a site or someone that may be able to help me identify this tooling. (Mix of Empire State tooling, R&L Tools, B&S MFG Co., and Hardinge)

Thanks,

You are on probably the best one.

There are several on this board that have these machines.

I am fairly well tooled up and make several thousand parts a year on mine.

Lots of pictures of what you have. A few tools per picture makes it easier for us to describe them for you.

Many older obsolete tools are still very useful.
