I found this mill at a local industrial surplus retailer at good price. The table and cross-slide move freely, but the vertical feed screw on the knee is a bit tight. It only came with one collet and no other attachments.
It looks like it was setup for a production run with the servo feed and chip shield.
I hooked it up to my rotary phase generator being careful to make sure the generated leg is NOT feeding the Servo II control, just in case. The spindle and drive motor sound great at low and high speeds, but the Servo II wasn't working. I did some research on here and found reference to the manufacturer; Everett at Servo Source responded right away to my plead for help and sent me several documents to help me understand what I had and how to check it.
I found a broken connection in the pendant cable and also found the single servo motor was plugged into a socket that wasn't being fed!
It works great now that it's plugged in to the right socket!
Now I can start cleaning it up!
