Default Help me ID this mill

Guy wants 4k no tools or vice.
Can somebody shine light on this machine and anything I should look for specifically

I have never seen the vertical bed way on a bridgeport is there regidity issue vs a normal ram type?

Probably came from a tracer mill or crude cnc that you could hang two heads on. I've used tracers before but that base looks strange to me. Rigidity shouldn't be problem. However it's a Bridgeport head with it's small quill you'll be limited somewhat anyway.

Bridgeport tracer milling machine Summary: Buy it cheap and part it out and use the profit to help buy a standard mill. Four grand is not cheap.

bridgeport tracer mill - Google Search Lots of pictures of them, some with the True Trace parts still there.

The T-ram is much more rigid and (top) heavy than the standard ram. It does not nod or swivel.

Yep, $4k is too steep. BP prices have come down, but sellers remember how they spiked 10 years ago. I'd say $2k max...$2.5 if it's one you especially want. Since you don't even know what it is, I assume that's not the case?!?

PITA to drill with as you cant make a full revolution with the quill handle.
